A self-taught artist, Conor works under the umbrella of contemporary Māori art.
In his exhibition I. Object. Conor’s latest works are a mix of found materials and reclaimed native woods used to create inspiring sculptural carved Rimu Palisades (defensive wall), Whare (meeting house) and Maunga (mountainous landscapes) that appear to hover, allowing playful light and shadow to illuminate these simplified forms and their significance.
His work can be discovered in collections throughout Aotearoa and around the world.
